What is a Letter of No Objection?

Views:

A letter of no objection is needed when you are currently employed, or any immediate member of your household has employment within the Federal Government.

A letter of no objection should be a letter that comes from the federal employee’s agency ethics office. Each federal agency has an ethics office that should be able to assist you with obtaining this letter.
